Stunning dog hardly describes this fellow I am sure you will agree. His owner has given me a very full account of Mouk as this dog is much cared for and only due to circumstances in the family which are out of his control, does he reluctantly have to find him the perfect home! Serious, experienced and committed offers only, will be considered.
Mouk is 16 months old pure bred – fully vaccinated, chipped, castrated and has all his papers. Weight 29kgs
I will copy the account his master gives of him for you to read here…if after reading you would like to be put in contact with the gentleman, you need to call me, Evelyn, on 05 65 69 12 26 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Mouk’s owner will home check and carefully assess the right home for him. Here is what he says about Mouk :
“”MOUK is a loving family dog that has to be with people. He has a very good but strong personality and needs to be in a disciplined environment (he’s still young). He will try to take control if you let him by barking at you, just ignore him and go about your business. No reward for bad behaviour. Australian Shepherds do not respond to old school training techniques. We have never hit the dog, only a light tap on the bum to get his attention if necessary. He has no problems being left alone in the house and has never destroyed anything, but he would not like being left alone for long periods on a daily basis, not an apartment dog. He has always slept in our bedroom on the floor, does not like sleeping alone. Sleeps through the night and ready for bed when ever you are. He likes to play and is high energy when he does, loves going for a daily walks 5 kilometers or more. Loves swimming. Loves riding in the car. He has lived in a large fenced in yard in the country. He is a fast learner and very smart, he will try to out smart you if you let him. This breed can be taught to do anything with the right training. We have taught him the basic commands sit, stay, wait, paw, roll over in French, but can be easily distracted, needs constant refresher training and needs training on recall and correctly walking on a leash. He has always walked on a leash with harness and can be let loose in isolated areas but if he sees another dog he will run after him but always comes back. He interacts well with other dogs, some dogs he likes, while others he does not but remains very sociable. He has never growled at us for any reason, you can even take his bowl away from him while he is eating. He would need extra attention during the first weeks in his new home until he is comfortable and trusts his new owner. Needs to be brushed three times a week and does not like it. We use a treat and he’ll let you do anything. Strict diet of Pro plan dog food for castrated dogs. He gets certain fruit and vegetables also.
MOUK has all his documents, I CAD, Chip, medical and shot records. We also have his birth certificate, genetic test and lineage as a pure breed.
NB – Mouk Loves kids. But plays hard. I would say no to babies or very young children, he is very strong and could inadvertently hurt a young child. Not sure about cats, he has seen them outside and seems to be indifferent. When he was a puppy, there was a cat in the house of the breeder. “”
