This sweet, sad boy has been stuck in the refuge for more than two years…will he have to face another winter?

Hamlet is 5/6yrs old, vaccinated, castrated and chipped ready for adoption.

This boy has no history other than he ended up in the pound lost and wandering two years ago and has been overlooked ever since.  His tail is docked or maybe there is a trace of Dobermann or Rottie in there perhaps?  Who knows, he’s a mix but his character is without doubt very kind.

A kind lady walks him as often and she can and takes these pictures, telling me that Hamlet is such a good boy, calm, obedient on and off the lead, does not pull and is very gentle.  He loves being with people and will sit and lie down to command.  Perhaps he had an owner once who maybe died….he is clearly used to being around people and very gentle.

Hamlet needs a home, a family of his own – he could be an only dog or maybe a friendly female friend, but in general he is good all rounder (not tested with cats as there are none at the refuge) and will follow you everywhere and never attempt to run away.  This boy just wants to belong again!

Call me, Evelyn, on 05 65 69 12 26 being sure to leave me a contact number and message if I can’t take your call straight away, or email me at – all emails replied to daily.  Don’t let this delightful fellow spend another year on cold concrete….two years has been way long enough!
